Background
I'm a Software Engineer who designs APIs and builds data workflows on AWS. But my story starts far from the world of distributed systems and cloud architecture. I grew up in Sonoma County, California, raised by two hardworking parents from Mexico who instilled in me the values that still drive me today: humility, curiosity, and relentless effort.
As a first-generation college student, I navigated the path to higher education without a roadmap. I didn't know anyone who had gone to college. The leap to UC San Diego to study Applied Mathematics was a step into the unknown, and that's exactly what shaped me. I stayed for an M.S. in Computational Science focused on machine learning.
At UCSD, I found my people. Friends who shared my fascination with emerging technology. People who showed me that having deep, unconventional interests in the future wasn't something to hide, but something to pursue. That community cemented my identity and continues to fuel my work.
Current Focus
Today, I operate at the intersection of Software Engineering, Blockchain, and AI. My vision centers on building infrastructure for an agent-powered internet: systems where AI agents handle the friction of digital life, interact with each other, and free humans to focus on what matters most. Real connection. Family. Meaningful work.
I'm particularly drawn to emerging payment rails like x402 and the broader potential of blockchain to reshape how value moves across the internet. I believe we're at an inflection point where these technologies will fundamentally change how we operate in the world.
Through it all, I remain a people person first. I value human-to-human moments and believe technology should serve that end, not replace it.
